Who I Help and How I Work
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State who approaches therapy with collaboration, compassion, and authenticity in mind.
Â
If you are struggling with low self-esteem, people-pleasing patterns, difficulty setting boundaries, and feeling stuck in painful or unhelpful thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, IÂ can help you develop self-trust, strengthen self-esteem, prioritize your needs, establish healthy boundaries, and build the skills you need to move through difficult thoughts and feelings with greater flexibility and self-awareness.

Using a person-centered, compassionate approach, I integrate cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based therapies to help you better understand yourself, clarify what matters most to you, and take meaningful steps toward living more authentically.
Â
IÂ also incorporate body-based awareness practices to help you understand how emotions show up physically, what those emotions may be communicating, and how to reconnect with your own internal wisdom.

My approach incorporates the following therapy modalities:

-
CBT — Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
-
DBT — Dialectical Behavior Therapy
-
ACT — Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
-
MBCT — Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy
-
Person-Centered and Existential Therapy
-
Somatic Body Awareness and Movement
